I have to share something neat with you. You know we are doing the PS 101 course on the prophetic-school list. I am also teaching a PS 101 class at my church (one of the Local Groups from the course). It has about 24-25 people in it. The class meets the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month.

We had our first meeting two weeks ago. At that meeting, the Lord had me give a word to one of the men in the group, Dan, that the Lord was going to be using him to raise up men in the Lord. There was a lot more to the word, but that was the part relevant to this story...

Last night we had our second class meeting. We where having a record downpour rainstorm.. the kind that makes the local news on all the TV stations. It was raining so hard that it was difficult to drive and there'd been a lot of car accidents because of the rain and some power outages as well.

So, I did not really expect a lot of people to come to class last night.. because of the rain. But 21 showed up. One of them was an unsaved man who intended to come for a special film that was being shown at the church the following night. But he arrived one day early. So one of the men invited him to stay for the prophecy class since he was already there.

(Another thing had been going on that I did not find out about until after class, but that had a direct impact on the class. We have a group of intercessors that meet every Sunday and Tuesday morning at 5:00 AM to pray and intercede. One of them, Lena, had a special prayer burden for a release of souls into God's kingdom for several weeks now, and had been faithfully interceding about that. On the Sunday preceding our Monday night class, the Lord had given the entire group a supernatural burden for souls.. they prayed and inteceeded and travailed and broke through in the heavenlies. As a result, two women were saved in the Woman's Sunday school class that morning. That class was studying the book of Proverbs. The Lord gave the teacher, Mary, supernatural revelation for the adult daughter, a first-time visitor, of one of our newer converts. That word caused a breakthrough for the daughter and she accepted the Lord. Another woman, backslidden for a long time, was also hit by the power of God as she watched this. And she rededicated her life to the Lord. Wow!!! Then on Monday morning, an unsaved (Muslim) woman had an appointment with our pastor to pray for healing for her son. She got saved during that appointment! Glory.)

I already knew about the two women in the Sunday school class, but I did not know anything about the intercession or the Muslim woman. And I had been informed that there was an unsaved man in the class. But I really did not think about him much because I was concentrating on the lesson and on the class.

We did our lesson (teaching and discussion) and then broke into small groups for the activation (a prophetic workshop exercise). I wandered around the room and assured all the groups were doing OK, then I joined the group that the unsaved man was in. Lena was in that group and they were praying for her when I joined them. The group were going to pray for Dan next, I suddenly felt strongly impressed of the Lord to ask our visitor, Brad, if he wanted to receive the Lord right then. First I introduced myself and asked him if he'd ever received Jesus as his Lord. He said no. Then I said, "Would you like to do that now, or would you prefer to have more time to consider it?"

He replied that he had been trying to figure out how to do that ever since I first started to teach.. we'd been talking about intimate relationship with God as the basis from which we prophecy, and similar things. He had been hungry for God for a while.. God had been preparing his heart. There was no work for us to do.. the Lord had already gotten him 100% ready to give his life to Jesus. So I explained to him how to invite Jesus to become his Lord and then he prayed and we agreed with him. Glory.. we saw a new brother enter into the kingdom.

Right after the rest of us in this little group prayed for him. At one point I felt impressed to pray for the baptism of the Holy Spirit for him... but did now know exactly how to do that in this particular classroom sitting. So I simply put my hand on his shoulder and asked the Lord to fill him to overflowing with His Holy Spirit.

After we finished praying, I turned to Dan and asked him if he'd either follow up with Brad or else get one of the other men in the church to do so. Dan was delighted to do this and Brad was pleased to have someone he could contact with any questions, etc.

Then we went back to the activation and prayed for Dan. Then the group wanted to pray for me. Dan gave a short prayer. Then Brad, our brand new brother in the Lord, stopped and looked at me and proceeded to give me a very detailed word of knowledge that was totally accurate! Wow. The entire group was stunned.. they all knew me well enough to know this was a good word, but there was no way Brad could have known that.

It was a great evening.. the Lord came to each of the small groups and everyone was very enthusiastic and excited. We had a short time of sharing (or debriefing) and there were lots of wonderful stories. Also, Brad shared his decision for the Lord with the whole class.. his first "public" testimony of his faith. When class was over, no one wanted to go home and folks hung around for about 40 minutes to talk and fellowship and share and to continue to pray for each other. It was a delightful evening.

After everyone left, Brenda (on Staff at the church) suggested we call the senior pastor and let him know about the salvation. So we headed upstairs to the office and gave him a call. That was when Brenda told me about the intercessors praying on Sunday. It turns out that the intercessor who'd been carrying the strong burden for souls was Lena, the woman who was in that small group with Brad.

It wasn't until the next morning that the Lord debriefed the evening with me and showed me a few more neat things. First, that was where He showed me that the salvations were coming so easily (the Sunday school class, the lady who had the appointment with our pastor, my class that evening) was because the intercessors had paved the way on Sunday morning.. they'd warred in the heavenlies and won. And then I called the church office to find out which intercessor had been carrying the strong burden for souls for those several weeks.. and found out it was Lena, the woman in the group when Brad accepted the Lord! God was allowing her to see the fruit of her labors.. Then God reminded me that I'd asked Dan to follow up with Brad, assure he gets discipled, etc. The reason I'd asked Dan was because he was the only man (besides Brad) in our little group of four.

"Well, Teresa," the Lord said, "DO you remember that I had you give him a word the first week? What was it?"

I remembered the word... which had totally slipped my mind until the Lord reminded me.. that the Lord would be using Dan to raise up men in the church. And here he was, the following class, strategically positioned by God in the same group with Brad. It was not a coincidence that he happened to be the man I asked to follow up with Brad.. He was divinely appointed by God to do so, and that was in fulfillment of the Word the Lord released over Dan the previous class.

Then God showed me one more thing. Remember how I had been led to pray over Brad that God fill him with the Holy Spirit to overflowing? Well, a few minutes later, Brad was giving a very detailed and accurate word of knowledge. That was the manifestation of having been filled with the Holy Spirit .. prophetic utterance!

Wow, when God orchestrates things, He sure does an incredible job!
