Prophetic Mini-Course Series

Announcing: On-Line Prophetic Training Series

The Prophetic School Training Mini-Course Series... a series of short classes and (teaching and discussion) that will be offered on the prophetic-school list. Various members of the leadership core will teach a 4 to 6 week course on a topic relevent to the prophetic. The first three sets of mini-courses in this series will be:

#1 Beginning May 4, 1998, Jim Wies teaches a 6-week series

"The Making of a Prophet: God's Character Curriculum" (Details about this first mini-course are enclosed below).

#2 After #1 completes, Jim Paul will do a 4 week series on

"The Listening Stance"

#3 The third mini-course will be Jane and Andy Fitz-Gibbon

on how to judge/process prophetic words

The series will continue beyond the announced course topics.

To Enrole in the Prophetic Mini-Course Series:

Simply subscribe to the prophetic-school list. This will automaticly enrole you in the course. Lesson material (teaching) will be sent out on the list on Mondays. All course-related discussion will be on the prophetic-school list.

THE MAKING OF A PROPHET: God's Character Curriculum For Prophets-in-the-Making

Dates:

Mondays, beginning May 4, 1998; lasts for 6 weeks.

Course Contents/Description:

The class will consist of teaching articles that will appear one a week on Mondays for six weeks. Each article is designed to be both intruction and a discussion starter for the open forum of the Prophetic-School.

Topics include the various processes God takes us through in preparation to be a vessel of service: the "school" of brokenness and humility; the "school" of offence; the "school" of rejection; the "school" of relationship and team ministry development, etc. It also includes a character study of two different Old Testament prophets and how to remove two of the most common hendrances to effectiveness in prophetic ministry.

(The "Prophetic-School" list will continue to function as it has been with other discussion as well, centered around topics pertaining to the prophetic; but in addition to the "regular stuff" we will be giving and receiving feedback about the information contained in each weeks teaching article.)
