    Deserts, Wilderness, Mountains, Valleys and Unknown Places

No longer cry in the wilderness My child, even though you have wandered 
there many times. You were not unaccompanied or on your own--I was there 
step by step. I know you have felt lonely and forlorn in a barren and 
wasted land. I walked right beside you, as you lingered in a location 
that no one wanted to live in or travel thru.

Now it is time to move on and move forward My child.

I heard your simplest whimper in the darkest of nights. I accompanied
all your dreams so you might glance at the plans I have for you. I have
heard your grumbling and complaining as you walk out the path planned
for your life. I have seen you walk thru the bleakness and isolation
of Egypt and I have seen you plod thru your encounters in Babylon.
Mercifully, lovingly and gracefully you were being polished and refined
as you rambled along. You were learning to be weak so I might be strong.
Grumble no more.

I have carried and cared for you, guarded and watched over you. You
have lacked for nothing. I have watched you sway on the path of humility
and I have observed you while you endured the seasons of trials and
testing.

I have witnessed you in battle and watched you trudge many miles for
justice. My child, you have become a seasoned warrior and victor. I am
pleased to see you are not faint of heart, My child. You have gained
stamina and endurance to run the race. The wilderness has no hold, the
valleys of temptation gone and the roaring lions of the desert are now
silent.

I am your provider and shield. I am your tower of strength, your escape,
and your refuge. You have persevered and faithfully died to your flesh
and waited upon Me. I go before you and I am your rear guard, you are
protected by My hand.

Do not dwell or worry about the unkind deeds and words of man; mean,
evil or treacherous as they may be. Their actions and their lying tongues
and utter confusion will not thrive. There is no room for double standards
and compromise in My house. The weeds of wickedness and division will be
pruned and left to die. Vengeance is Mine! My hand has deflected the
arrows and darts the enemy let fly, all falling short of their mark.

The spirit of men may be wounded and bruised, like a reed; but My body,
My people are not broken.

Come to the pools of healing waters and soak, bathe. Shower yourself in
My love, mercy and grace; be renewed, refreshed and redeemed. Restore
yourself to health, rebuild your temple and let all foolish pride and
delights of the world flee.

There will always be deserts, mountains, and valleys. But like I was with
David, so I will help you conquer the giants of the land. You will find
favor, for I am there in all those places. When you face the unknown, do
not be terrified or anxious. Allow Me to lead, and all you have to do is
follow. Pursue these very simple and easy directions.

I love you, My child, and My love endures forever and ever. I am with you,
so who can be against you?
