                        Hunger And Thirst

Child of Mine, I hunger and thirst for you even more than you hunger 
and thirst for Me. 

I desire a deep and intimate relationship with you, little one. I 
balance times when you can sense My nearness with times when you feel 
nothing and are forced to walk forward in faith. I do this so that your 
faith may grow and mature, so that you may be completed in Me. Yes, I 
balance the times of intimacy and intense spiritual awareness with times 
of difficulty, hardship, sickness, and the mundane everyday life...and 
for the same reasons...that your character may continue to grow and 
mature. 

I know you would like to live within My tangible presence every minute 
of every hour of every day...and there will come a time when you do--after 
you have been perfected. Child, it is important for you to know that this 
season...this time that you inhabit planet earth...it is but a short time.
It seems like forever to you, but it is just a blink of the eye in all 
that I have for you. So do not fret the season of preparation and do not
try to avoid it. Let Me work My glory in you and let Me prepare you for
what is ahead.

I know you are hungry for Me. If it were up to you, you would prefer to
abide in My tangible presence at all times, and to live within the 
supernatural. But dear one, you are currently in a season of preparation 
and training. That season will eventually pass away, so allow Me to 
accomplish in your life what I desire to do here, knowing that you will
one day draw close to Me for all eternity in Heaven.
