Blessings Everyone,
We live on a 30 acre farm, and as a means of escape from his regular business, my husband raises cattle. The herd is small as he is just getting started, the herd consisting of show stock. Last spring was unbelievable. We had 16 animals die. We spent quite a bit of money on veterinary calls, prayed and even anointed some of the animals, but to no avail. Not only did they continue to die, but our animals were not thriving as they once did.
As we prayed and sought the Lord for the cause, and we began to believe a curse had fallen on our land. So, how to break the curse to redeem the land? Well, this is what we did.
It took quite a while to do all this, but from that time on, there were no more deaths. In fact, we had one calf that the vet recommended we put down. We did not follow his recommendation, but believed the Lord for her life, and she lived. He is so faithful. He has given us the power and authority we need.
We praise and give glory and honor to the Lord for what He did in our situation, rescuing us from the snare of the fowler. He proved Himself strong in our behalf. And if he cares about saving our cattle, how much more he cares about our children and those we love who have fallen prey to the enemy. Stand firm on His promises and you will see them come to pass. He is a gracious, loving God, full of compassion and tender mercies.
God bless all of you,
Ruthie Burnett
