Prayer-School Mini-Course Series

Announcing: On-Line Prayer and Intercession Training Series

The Prayer School Training Mini-Course Series... a series of short classes and (teaching and discussion) that will be offered on the prayer-school list. Various members of the leadership core will teach short courses on a topic relevent to prayer and intercession. The current course is:

To Enrole in the Prayer-School Mini-Course Series:

If you are already subscribed to the prayer-school list, you don't have to do anything.. you are already enrolled in this training series.

Otherwise, simply subscribe to the prayer-school list, and this will automatically enroll you in the course. Lesson material (teaching) will be sent out on the list on Mondays. All course-related discussion will be on the prayer-school list.

A Prayer Sampler

Mondays, beginning Oct 27, 2008; lasts for 18 weeks.

Course Contents/Description:

This is an 18 week teaching series designed to make your prayer life come a live as it opens whole new dimensions of prayer to you. This series will explore the following board categories of prayer:

• prayer to build/improve our personal relationship with God
• prayer to help us grow/mature spiritually and emotionally
• prayer regarding our personal needs and concerns
• prayer for the needs of others
• prayer as ministry to others
• other models of prayer, such as the Lord's prayer, praying scripture, corporate prayer, etc.
• fasting and prayer

In addition to this, we will talk about how our prayer life changes over time, how to pray effectively (so that your prayers get answered), and how to develop a greater depth of intimacy with God in your prayer life.

(The "Prayer-School" list will continue to permit discussion as well, centered around topics pertaining to prayer and intercession; but in addition to the "regular stuff" list members may give and receive feedback about the information contained in each weeks lesson.)
