Announcing: On-Line Prayer and Intercession Training Series

The Prayer School Training Mini-Course Series... a series of short classes and (teaching and discussion) that will be offered on the prayer-school list. Various members of the leadership core will teach short courses on a topic relevant to prayer and intercession. Our next course will be:

God's Purpose And Destiny For Our Lives

Course Contents/Description:

This course talks about why God created us, and about what we need to do in order to feel fulfilled and content in our lives. It covers the following topics:

1. We were created for a purpose; we are not an accident, and God has a wonderful plan for our lives.
2. We are created for God's pleasure, so that He can love us, and so He can be loved back by us through worship.
3. We are created to be in loving relationship with each other.
4. We are created to grow and mature and become more like Christ.
5. We are created to minister to the needs of others.
6. We are created to be His witness.

The material on destiny and purpose is keenly applicable to the lives of intercessors and prayer warriors. It builds a foundation from which you can launch into the specific details of your destiny. It also helps you understand the destiny of those who the Lord calls you to pray and intercede for.

[This course is derived from a series of sermons that Rodney originally preached when his church was running the Forty Days Of Purpose program by Rick Warren. The sermons were intended for the congregation to follow the week by week reading in Rick Warren's book, providing additional depth of understanding and insights on each area. As a result of that, pieces of the material in this course will track closely with Rick Warren's book. If you are a serious student, we recommend that you obtain the book Forty Days of Purpose and read it along with this course.]

(The "Prayer-School" list will continue to function as it has been with other discussion as well, centered around topics pertaining to prayer and intercession; but in addition to the "regular stuff" we will be giving and receiving feedback about the information contained in each weeks teaching article.)
