Prayer-School Mini-Course Series

Announcing: On-Line Prayer and Intercession Training Series

The Prayer School Training Mini-Course Series... a series of short classes and (teaching and discussion) that will be offered on the prayer-school list. Various members of the leadership core will teach short courses on a topic relevent to prayer and intercession. Courses include:

#1 On October 12, 1998, Richard Lang taught a 8-week series on

"Effective Prayer"

#2 On December 7, 1998, Teresa Seputis taught a 10 week series on

"Dressing for Intercession ...Or How To Avoid Holes In Your Armor"

#3 Beginning on March 8, 1999, Cliff Murray teaches a 12 week series on

"Team Ministry"
(Details about this mini-course are enclosed below).

The series will continue beyond the announced course topics.

Simply subscribe to the prayer-school list. This will automaticly enrole you in the course. Lesson material (teaching) will be sent out on the list on Mondays. All course-related discussion will be on the prayer-school list.

Mondays, beginning Mar 8, 1999; lasts for 12 weeks.

Course Contents/Description:

Christ admonishes us to pray together in unity, in one accord.. e.g., as a team. Unfortunately, in today's society, many do not understand the biblical concept of team and how to walk in it.

This is a 12 part teaching will define the concept of team ministry, explore old and new testament lessons on team, examine leadership, benefits of team ministry, effective communication, conflict resolution, team building and how to become an effective team player, and will also touch on corporate prayer.

While the emphasis of this course is not on prayer, per sae, unity and team are important foundations upon which prayer and intercession are built.. therefore this course will give us groundwork to help us become more effective as intercessors.

(The "Prayer-School" list will continue to function as it has been with other discussion as well, centered around topics pertaining to prayer and intercession; but in addition to the "regular stuff" we will be giving and receiving feedback about the information contained in each weeks teaching article.)
