Announcing: On-Line Prayer and Intercession Training Series

The Prayer School Training Mini-Course Series... a series of short classes and (teaching and discussion) that will be offered on the prayer-school list. Various members of the leadership core will teach short courses on a topic relevent to prayer and intercession. The current course is:

Prophetic Intercession

Course Contents/Description:

This course examines the various aspects of prophetic intercession. It explores the concept of allowing God to lead your prayers, establishing that He wants to be actively involved in leading you in your prayer life. He wants to show you what is on His heart for you to pray about and what prayer strategy to use. The course covers the concept of intercessory assignments, that God will task you to pray for certain things but not necessarily for other things. It explains how to respond to God when He gives you an intercessory assignment, and how to be effective in it. The course explains how to develop a lifestyle of prayer, as opposed to making prayer an activity you do for 15 or 30 minutes (or even an hour) a day. It discusses the authority that God has given us in Christ.

The course looks at some of the varous ways that God may lead an intercessor to pray, or "expressions" of intercession. It explores how to determine what God's heart (or will is) for a given situation. It develops the concept of living in God's presence, and of God's awareness of every situation that we encounter. In short, this course is provides a practical means to move into the dynamic and powerful realm of effective spirit-led prayer.

(The "Prayer-School" list will continue to function as it has been with other discussion as well, centered around topics pertaining to prayer and intercession; but in addition to the "regular stuff" we will be giving and receiving feedback about the information contained in each weeks teaching article.)
