Announcing: Ministering At The Altar

The Healing School Training Mini-Course Series... a series of short classes and (teaching and discussion) that will be offered on the healing-school list. Various members of the leadership core will teach short courses on a topic relevent to praying for the sick and seeing God heal them.

Current Course:

#6 Beginning Sep 9, 2002, Rusty Russell will teach a 7 week series on

"The Reality Of God's Healing Power" (Details about this mini-course are enclosed below).

The series will continue beyond the announced course topics.

To Enrole in the Healing-School Mini-Course Series:

Simply subscribe to the healing-school list. This will automaticly enrole you in the course. Lesson material (teaching) will be sent out on the list on Mondays. All course-related discussion will be on the healing-school list.

Course Contents/Description:

This series discusses the reality of God's healing power. It begins by developing a strong biblical basis of God's desire and ability to heal the sick. It shares how Jesus purchased our healing on the cross. Then it develops that God wants us healthy. It talks about ways that God builds faith to receive (or minister) healing, including how He quickens scriptures for healing. Then the series discusses how to keep your healing, and how to build your faith for healing by bringing our headaches, colds and flus to God instead of "taking care of them ourselves." Our faith for healing grows over time as God touches our bodies in the minor everyday illnesses. Then when something big comes along in our own life or in the life of someone we are praying for, we have the faith we need. Rusty also shares a few testamonies of how God has healed through him when he prayed for others. The series also teaches on ministering healing to others, and explains how to get started doing that.

(The "Healing-School" list will continue to function as it has been with other discussion as well, centered around topics pertaining to praying for the sick and seeing them healed; but in addition to the "regular stuff" we will be giving and receiving feedback about the information contained in each weeks teaching article.)
