Announcing: Divine Healing
The Healing School Training Mini-Course Series... a series of short classes and (teaching and discussion) that will be offered on the healing-school list. Various members of the leadership core will teach short courses on a topic relevent to praying for the sick and seeing God heal them.
Current Course:

The series will continue beyond the announced course topics.
To Enroll in the Healing-School Mini-Course Series:
Simply subscribe to the healing-school list. This will automaticly enrole you in the course. Lesson material (teaching) will be sent out on the list on Mondays. Course #14 description:
(The "Healing-School" list will continue to function as it has been with other discussion as well, centered around topics pertaining to praying for the sick and seeing them healed; but in addition to the "regular stuff" we will be giving and receiving feedback about the information contained in each weeks teaching article.)

- Course Contents/Description:
This 11 week series will look at many aspects of "divine healing," where God bypasses natural medicine to bring healing to a person. It will explore healing from the perspective of the person receiving healing and also from the perspective of the person ministering healing.
The series starts with a solid Old and New Testament biblical foundation for healing, as well as examining the healing ministry of Jesus. Then it will explore God's will in healing, and how we can know whether or not God wants to heal a person. Then it will examine how healing fits into God's salvation plan, the role of sickness in people's lives, the primary causes of sickness are and how to deal with each cause.
It will get involved in some very practical details of receiving healing, such as avoiding the enemy counterfit to divine healing, taking care of our bodies, etc. It will also expore some of the practical details of ministering healing.
The series will explore the role of faith in healing, including how to develop and apply faith when praying for the sick. It will also explore the role of the prophetic in healing. Then it will examine some of the hinderances to healing, including some theological hinderances (e.g., wrong beliefs) that make it hard to believe God for a healing). Finally, it will cover various means by which God heals people and how to prepare a person to receive their healing from God.
