(written on Nov 6, accounting what God did for me on Oct 30)

I was also in a car accident on Monday Oct 19. The accident was severe enough that metal from the car bent over me and I was pinned in the car for about 1/2 hour, until the police pryed me out. I was not seriously injured, but ended up with severe neck/back pain. I saw a specialist, a neurosurgeon, who put me on medication and wanted to put me into physical theorapy if I was not noticably better in a week. I had my church pray for me, and a team of over 20 GodSpeak intercessors were praying for me as well. And I saw noticable relief .. so that I could at least turn my neck a bit... but I still had some very noticable neck/back PAIN.

The following Friday (Oct 30) I went to a Rodney Howard-Brown meeting. They had over an hour of worship... and they wanted us to stand for all of the worship. About 45 minutes into the worship, my back began to really hurt. I began rubbing it and it was quite distracting. But I was determined to worship. So, about 15 minutes later, I was in so much pain that I could not stand it any more. I could hardly concentrate on God.. I wanted to leave the meeting and go home and lay down. I told God that I could not stand it any more and asked Him whether or not He really was the Lord my God who Healeth me? Something inside of me told me to persevere in worship.. I thought about how God was worthy to be worshipped regardless of whether or not I had neck/back pain. I asked the Holy Spirit help me to worship the Father in a manner that would please Him. I remained standing and really began to concentrate on how awesome our God is.

After the worship ended, they let us sit down. Rodney had a few people share and I sat there rubbing my back, unable to concentrate on what they were saying because it hurt so much. They were going to have a special solo from one of the local pastors who is also a very gifted singer, but they were having trouble getting the person who plays the keyboard on stage. So Rodney decided to share a bit while they worked that out.

I was sitting in the 2nd row. Rodney went over and stood infront of a lady in the front row, two seats to my right. She began to break into fits of laughter. All of the sudden, I began to laugh too. I did not want to laugh, and I tried to cover my mouth, but I could not help it. Rodney turned and stood infront of me and looked at me intently. I was really fighting to keep from laughing.. but to no avail. I began to try and sink down into my chair, trying hard not to make a scene. Then I sort of went limp and ended up in a really unusual position, half in my chair and half out of it .. and I could not help but laugh and laugh.... I did not even know why I was laughing.. but I could sense the Lord's presense around me.

When I stopped laughing, I noticed my neck and back did not hurt any more. I even tried to make them hurt.. turning my head strongly from left to right, moving my back around, etc. I was totally healed! No one laid a hand on me.. God sovereignly healed me!!

That was exactly a week ago, and I have not experienced any neck or back pain since then. My doctor really does not know quite what to make of this...

GLORY!!! God is SO awesome!!!
