               The Path


I've set before you a straight path to follow.
Go not to the left, child, but stay to the right.
Trials will test you, and there will be sorrow,
But I will be with you, to give you songs in the night.

So many will choose to traverse the wide road
It seems full of pleasure, but they are deceived.
Pain and destruction and heartache await those
Who walk this worldly way and have not believed.

Compel them, My children - light up their pathway.
Tell them of My love, My great mercy and peace.
I long to rescue them from Satan's bondage,
Free them from darkness, and bring them release.

There's two paths, My children - one wide, one narrow,
One that is easy and one that appears hard.
But great are My benefits when you on My way go:
Wondrous blessings I'll pour down - great is your reward!
