                    The Current Testing - Lean On Me

My child, do not fear. Yes, I know the testing and the trials of your 
character that I am taking you through. As pressure has been exerted in 
your areas of weakness, you have fallen under the weight of sin and
have despaired, thinking that you cannot overcome. My child, let it be 
known to you that I was tested and tried with all of your situations. 
Beloved I know what you face and felt what you feel. Yes, I leaned on the
strength of the Father. My sight was never on the natural, for even My 
natural body was weak, but I received the empowerment of the Holy Spirit 
as I was baptized in the Jordan.
 
I was victorious and so were you. You died when I died and you rose when 
I rose. Therefore since you are hidden in Me, you are a new creation. 
The old has gone, the new has come. The enemy at this time has brought
to memory the frivolousness of the flesh of times past and the benefits 
of living in worldliness. But My beloved you made a choice. You had a 
choice to follow either the way of darkness or the narrow road, the one
road that leads to the Father.  You chose life, for I was and I still am 
the Way, the Truth and the Life. In Me is life eternal. You knew in your 
heart that all that was of the world only led to destruction and an utter 
end, yet saw "life" in Me, and faced with that choice, you chose Me.
 
My beloved I tell you do not allow the enemy to dissuade you from your 
goal. Do not seek again the former life but look ahead to all that is in 
Me, the author and the finisher of your faith. The testings you are 
experiencing are testing the foundation of your faith, where you truly 
stand. Yet if you trust in Me alone, you have nothing to fear. I will 
lead you out of the way of temptation and bring you into the fruitfulness 
of My Kingdom. You have to be willing to resist that which you once held 
dear that now is only a hindrance to your moving forward in My plans. 
Resist the devil and he will flee. Take My yoke upon you and learn from 
Me, for My way is easy and straightforward and leads to life.
 
Even as you go through this wilderness season, fear not, for I am molding 
My character in you, says the Lord, that you would emerge effective tools 
for My work. Run the race ahead of you with endurance. Those who have gone 
before you only cheer you on. Let their life and walk be a testimony and 
a witness that, yes, those who trust in the Lord shall be led to paths
everlasting and to victory. Be encouraged My child.  For I have said that 
I will never leave you nor forsake you. Keep this promise with you as you 
walk through this life.
