                    In Seasons Of Struggle

Child of Mine, do not be surprised when you encounter struggles,
difficulty or hardship in your life--for I use these things to help
you grow and mature. Struggle is a part of living and growing--all
living things go through that, including you.

Child, I love you dearly and I am committed to taking good care of
you. But I promise you that, at times, you will have struggles in 
your life. Do not be surprised when they come. Remember what My Son 
said: "In this world, you will have tribulation. But be of good 
cheer, for I have overcome the world."*

Dear one, you must understand that I want to see you grow up and 
mature. I want to see you molded into My image, and I want to see you 
develop My character in your life. That means you must go through a 
growth process. You must face difficulties and trials, for they help 
you to mature. I want you to learn to be victorious and to overcome 
in the midst of these struggles. I want you to learn how to solve 
problems in Me--and you can't do that if you don't face any. I want 
you to learn how to lean on My Spirit for His leading and support. I 
want your faith to grow and to become perfected. That is why I allow 
these things in your life. 

So do not mistake a season of growth for a season of My displeasure. 
Do not assume that I have lifted My hand of protection off of you and 
do not assume that I am far from you. Child of Mine, I am with you 
always and in all things. Trust Me and follow Me, and I will lead you 
on to victory.
