                    The Winter Season

My child, I have loved you from the moment of creation and I will always 
love you.  You are going through the winter season and the winter brings 
forth newness of life in the spring.

I have walked you through all of the seasons and very soon the cycle will 
begin again.  You will come forth out of the winter stronger than you've 
ever been and more fruitful because it's in the winter season that I 
sharpen the fruit and cause it to multiply.

To everything there is a season, and that includes your Christian walk.  
You must have the winter in order to reach maturity, and you must also
feel the loneliness, coldness, winds of adversity and stillness as I do 
a beautiful work in you. 

The Son shines in the winter.  There is the pure white snow and there 
is beauty in the ice storm as the ice forms on the branches and My Son 
shines forth from them.  Rejoice child, knowing I am doing a work within 
you and you will understand one day.  Keep on seeking to do My will and 
to please Me in all things.  I will draw close to you and give you your 
heart's desire because I love you and long to make you happy.
