The Slow Walk
The world and its ways have hurt you. It has clawed at you and held you
captive for a time. You have battled and almost given in. You fought
with sweat and tears. I saw the battle that raged.
Now you walk My path again, battle weary and tired. You feel you cannot
go on, that you will not make it far down this path. Look. There is
nothing to the left, nothing to the right, nothing behind. Your enemies
have been captured, they will not taunt you, they will not chase you.
The way ahead is clear and smooth. Now you walk with a cane, but in a
little time you will turn. You will come around the other side and you
will walk straight, you will walk tall, you will walk perfected and
restored and strengthened, clothed in wisdom. The gaining of wisdom can
be a hard lesson. You have learned this lesson. You have learned much in
your battle with the world and you have overcome. You are stronger now.
I am He who takes weakness and turns it into strength. I take tears and
turn them into joy. I take what the enemy meant for bad and turn it into
good. Good shall come out of this. Good shall come to this place. You
will march from now on and no longer limp. You shall march in the army
of the Lord God Almighty. Who shall I use but those who have been
trained? You have left the training ground and are a warrior for Christ.
