Lie Down...

My child, how long have I waited for you to come and LIE DOWN. Oh beloved, stop doing good things FOR me. My desire is to BE with you. Only when you stop doing can I be your All in All. Let me BE Wonderful Counsellor. Let me BE The mighty God. Let me BE The everlasting Father. Let me BE The Prince of Peace.

You say that your life is not your own, but yet you have not given yourself over to me completely. You still burden yourself by doing things for me that I have not asked you to do! Don't you know that I can not finish a work in you that I have not begun? If I do not place you somewhere, I can not keep you there. I am bound to my Word...I AM MY WORD! Ask me and I shall speak!

Let me into your heart. For I want all of you. I know the darkest corners of your soul and love you as my own. So do not fear the darkness that you may find there. I see all things. I knew you before I placed you in your mother's womb. But yet somehow you fear that I will not like what I will find in those secret places. But I say to you, that once you have invited me into those places, they are dark no more. Let me bring my Light...which is the very source of Life. Then the healing will come. Let me turn darkness into light, tears into laughter and sorrow into joy.

Oh the bitter sweet joy of surrender. Yield to me. Let me bring the south winds into your soul. The refreshing breath of life that fans the flame of desire. Let me consume you as a living sacrifice of praise that I may show forth my Glory into all the earth. Let me live through you. Let me be your God.

I have prepared a place for you. A place where you can rest in my shadow. Oh how I long for that sweet communion with you! My heart burns for you my beloved. Come...come to me. Let Me refresh your soul. Let me lift your head and give you cool waters from my hand. Come and lie down, let me be your God.
