                   Perfect In Weakness

Dear child of Mine, why do you let the enemy of your soul torment you over
and over again? He says hurtful things to you and you keep listening to
him, then you keep running back to Me in tears. It is time to grow in faith
and to stop believing His lies.

He tells you are that you are inadequate, as though inadequacy is a reason
for you to disqualify yourself. Dear child, don't you know that apart from
Me, no one is adequate? I know who you are because I created you. I know
your weaknesses and limitations, and I take great joy in working My glory
through imperfect vessels. I have called you and chosen you. I don't expect
you to be perfect, and I never did.

Every one of My servants have had their flaws. The thing that made them
great was that they yielded to My will. They allowed Me to pour My
anointing upon them and place My Spirit within them. They allowed Me to
work mightily through them despite their imperfections. I want to do the
same thing in your life, if you will only yield to Me.

Do you remember My servant Paul? I did many amazing things through his
life and ministry. I used him mightily in planting and establishing My
church. Even though he served Me well, he was not perfect. Do you remember
the thing he called a "a thorn in the flesh?" He begged Me to take it
away from him on three separate occasions; he told Me that this thorn
effected with is credibility in ministry. Do you remember the answer I
gave him? I told him, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength
is made perfect in weakness."**

Child, My glory in your life is also made prefect in your weakness.
Your imperfections make you dependent on Me. If you could do all I
ask of you in your own strength, then you would not need to depend on
Me and you would simply go do it on your own. That is not My will for
you; I don't want you to serve Me in your own strength, but in Mine. I
have not called you to be adequate in and of yourself. I always planned
to be your adequacy.

Do not listen to your enemy the devil when he tries to taunt you in this
area. You are Mine, you are called and chosen, and I have wonderful plans
for your life. I will continue to pour My grace and My strength into you,
so that I might glorify My name through you life. So do not look at your
own inadequacies, but look at Me and My plans for you. For I love to work
mightily through imperfect vessels, and I work My glory and perfect will
through you as you yield to Me in your weakness.

** 2 Corinthians 12:8-9--"8 Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord
three times that it might depart from me. 9 And He said to me, 'My
grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in
weakness.' Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities,
that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
