                       Sit Quietly

My children, how you have let disappointment steal your joy. Today let 
My Spirit of gladness invade your soul. Let it color, transform and 
lighten you. Oh, what a sweet countenance you have! How I long to see 
it lit up from within.

You are My resting place. Such tender hearts and such willing vessels. 
I will have My way in your midst. Grace and mercy -- saturation 
overflowing.  I call all those who have ears to listen, to consider My 
ways anew. 

Will you sit before Me and allow Me to pour out all the blessings I have
designed and chosen for you? Can you sit quietly and allow Me to speak
health, healing and wholeness into your life? Listen to Me. Listen to Me.
Walk away from negativity, jealousy and disappointment. 

I will wrap you in My mantle of grace. Snuggle down, My child, like a 
wee one that sighs in contentment and peace. Snuggle, having nursed at 
My breast of comfort and security. Be released from the complexity of 
"Christian life." It's only and all about Me.
