			A New Day

I had a vision of dark clouds. As I watched them, I saw them move slowly
apart, and I saw a hidden sun. Some clouds drifted to the right, the
others to the left. The sun seemed so far away, so weak and pale, and
then all of a sudden it was pouring light, bright and huge and yellow and
I could feel the warmth all over me. Then the Lord laid this in my heart:

Wake up now from your weary slumber and see what has dawned. A new day. A
day filled with promise and light. A day where there is no darkness and
where the ground is soft and fresh under your feet. A day where the clouds
of worry, of despair, of fear, of trepidation, have been chased away, for
darkness cannot live in the light and my light will reveal the truth.

Did I not tell you to have no fear? Did I not tell you I am the way and I
will ensure that you are kept safe? The storm will rage for only a time,
only a short while, and in the midst of the storm, there I am, delivering
you safely to the other side.

Prepare yourself for a new and blessed time. A time of warmth, a time of
restoration and newness. A time of joy. Prepare yourself for the darkness
has shifted, the troubles have fled and your prayers have been heard over
these long seasons. Do not dwell on what is over. It is finished and a
new day has dawned.
