                               Fight

The other lesson you must learn is that when we cross a milestone, My way
of doing things in your life may change.  Look once again to the children
of Israel. When they were in the desert, they were just passing through,
and there was not time to farm or work the land.  So I fed them from Heaven,
I gave them Manna.  Why?  Was it because I wanted to give them Manna
for the rest of eternity? No, it was because that was necessary to allow
them to pass through the desert and on into the promised land.  My goal
for them in the desert was to move them through it and out of it into the
place I had always intended for them to go. I did not want them setting up
any type of permanent residency, and that is why I did not as them to work
the land to produce a crop.

But when they finally crossed the river Jordan into the promised land,
my goal for them changed. They had now arrived where I had planted them,
and now I wanted them to work the land. I wanted to establish them in
their promised land. They were no longer wanderers, they were residents.
So I stopped the manna and I asked them to work the land, to plant their
crops, to harvest and to eat the fruits of their own labors.

I am doing a similar thing today it the lives of many of My own. In the
past I simply gave them the tings that they wanted and they did not have
to work for it, because I wanted them to learn to trust Me to provide for
them. I wanted to show them I was faithful. But now I am asking many of My
own to work with Me in order to accomplish My plans for their lives. I
give them the ability to accomplish what I tell them to do, and I do it
with them and help them do it, but I require them to actually do something.

So many of My own have learned the first lesson (the one to trust Me to
provide) so well that they are content to go without rather than working
for what I am now giving to them. They say, "If God wants me to have it, He
will simply give it to me."  But I say to you, child, that is not the case.
There are now things that I want you to work for. There are times when you
have to strive and contend for the promises that I have given you. You
will not find everything handed to you on a silver platter.  But know that
when I give a promise, I keep My promise.  If you do your part, I will
surely do My part and you will possess all of the promises that I have
made to you.

Let Me give you an example, child of Mine, from the area of finances.  Yes,
it is true that I always finance the works that I ordain.  But I may not
finance them in the way you expect.  In these days, too many of My own have
limited their vision in this area. They think the only way that I provide
finances is through the donations and financial gifts of others.

When I give one of My own a vision that costs money to implement and
someone does not give them that money, they decide the vision is not of
Me and they leave it undone.  That is not good, it is wrong thinking that
must be changed.  Many times I have chosen a different way to finance the
vision I give; I am releasing strategies into My people. I am giving them
new and innovative ways to earn money.  I am opening doors of opportunity
for higher paying jobs.  I am showing My people strategies to live simpler
so that money they already have can stretch father and begin to finance
the vision I have given them.

Some of the visions I are small and personal. For instance, there are ones
who I have instructed to take their children a long distance to see
grandparents and great aunts/uncles once last time before they die. I told
them to do that because I have things I wish to impart into the children
through these older ones, things that will help establish each child in
his/her destiny. Yes, the trip is expensive and the finances are tight, but
I am able to provide.

Begin to think outside of the limited box that tradition has taught you.
Look to see My provision come in unusual and innovative ways.  Begin to
implement the innovative things that I show you to do, and you will find
that you have the finances for the things that I am asking you to do.

Some of the visions that I have given are huge and wide scope, and you may
think to yourself, "Lord I can't do that."  And you may say, "Lord, I
cannot finance that."  When these thoughts enter your mind, remind yourself
of Joshua and the generation that took the promised land.  They had been
told that the giants in the land were too big and too strong, that they
were undefeatable.  But I showed them new and innovative ways to fight.
Some of them were counter-intuitive, like marching around the walled city
Jericho.

Child, I will be showing you new ways to do things, and I will be giving
you strategies that you must implement. Yes, it will take faith to trust Me
and show you to do, but know that as you begin to do it, I will begin to
do it with you. I will add My strength to yours and I will cause you to
succeed.  But I will not start to help you until you start to obey what I
have shown you to do.

So do not set back waiting for the Manna to fall from Heaven.  I say to
you child, that time is past and you are now in the season of obedience.
Obey Me.  Do what I show you to do, and you shall see My glory come into
your life and into your situation.
