                        Watch Me And Follow

Child of Mine, do not get stuck in the old way of doing things when I
have moved on.

Remember the Children Of Israel as I led them through the wilderness.
They had to watch Me through My cloud of glory and My pillar of fire.
They had to look and see where I was going; and when I moved, they had
to pack up and move with Me.  It was not enough for them to follow Me just
to the first campsite and then set up a homestead there.  No, that would
not do at all, for it was only a stop en route to their final destination,
and not where I intended them to be.

It was not enough for them to start obeying Me and then stop; they had to
continue looking and watching and doing what I was doing, for I was not
planting or establishing them there at that time.  That was a time when I
was teaching them to trust and obey Me, that they might follow Me as I led
them step-by-step towards their final destination and into their promised
land.

Likewise, child, you must not try to set up a homestead and build your
permanent structures before I have brought you into your promised land.
Keep your eyes on Me and watch where I am going.

I lead so many of My children through the Valley Of Death that they may
mature. But it is always My intention to lead them out the other side
of that valley and up on to the mountain top of My glory.  Yet so many of
My dear ones become weary of the journey. They take their eyes off of Me
to focus them on their momentarily problems or hardships or trials; then
they stop seeing where I am going.  Once they loose sight of Me, they
begin to set up permanent residency right there in that Valley Of Death.
Child, I never intended for any of My own dear ones to live geminately
in that valley.

One of the lessons that you must learn is to watch Me and follow Me so
that you might move when I move and go where I am going. I am taking you
to a good place, even in this lifetime.  It is indeed a land flowing with
milk and honey; it is a place where you will find rest for your souls,
where peace and joy will overtake you.

So do not settle for the temporary rest stops along the journey. Press on
all the way to the promised land that I have chosen for you. Trust Me,
child of Mine, for I have a wonderful destination in store for you. Fix
your eyes on Me. Trust Me, and I will surely lead you there.
