Keeping Power

My children, I am requiring of you things that often are not comfortable to your flesh. I am calling you to come up to a higher place of praise. It is a place where some of the former things will no longer be appropriate and where some of the things I have planned for you from the beginning will begin to emerge in your heart. You will no longer be able to go backwards, and you will have to press through unbelievable hardships in order to press forward.

There are choices you alone must make to be able to do as I require. For the higher place of praise is to stand upon the mountain of adversity and hardship and yet praise Me, telling everyone that I am not just the coming King, but the reigning King! For my glory will be given to no other and I am requiring of you that nothing else take my place.

In the coming days, I shall show you that every mountain has it's peak. As you come before Me in the quiet of the day, I am going to pour out upon you more of my keeping power to be able to withstand during times of stress and times of attack. For it is the enemy's greatest desire that you would not press through until the end, that you would quit two feet from the finish line. My children, when you attempt to muster up the courage and the fortitude on your own you are only headed for more defeat. But when you lay down your cares at My feet and confess your inabilities, you will find that I am strong, well able to meet your every need, to bolster you up when you fall short of strength. When the battle has been long, and your heart is weary...come to Me, my children. Come to Me.
