              Open Your Eyes

Believe not what you see with your natural eyes,
Nor believe what you hear with your natural ears--
For in seeing you see not,
And in hearing you hear not
What the spirit speaks unto the church this day.

For what man in the midst of an attack
Does not dig for himself a fox hole,
That as the enemy wages his attack all around you
You might rest in safety out of the reach of his fiery darts?

But in so doing,
Your vision of the present situation has been distorted,
And your hearing has been dulled.
For you see not as I see
And you hear not as I hear.

Therefore pray to the Lord of the harvest
 That in seeing, you may see with your spiritual eyes,
And in hearing, you might hear with your spiritual ears,
That the eyes of your understanding might be enlightened
And the truth of the matter might be revealed.

What appears to you in the foxhole
As a barrier or roadblock
Is not that at all.
It is merely a stepping stone
A stepping stone to your future
Your destiny in Me.

Therefore, child of Mine
Put upon you the whole armor of God
That you might rise up from where I have kept you hidden.
Rise up in my strength,
with your confidence in Me;
Take your stand,
For the enemy seeks those he might devour.

And in that day
That you have overcome,
You will see
As I see.

What you had perceived as a barrier,
As a roadblock,
Upon which you now stand--
It is merely a stepping stone.
A stepping stone
To your future,
Your destiny in Me.
