                        I Am Able

I am the God of Abraham, and nothing is too hard for Me.  I am able to 
change the laws of human biology, to cause a woman to conceive even after 
she has stopped menstruating.  I am in control of human destiny and nothing 
is able to overcome My purposes and intentions, because I am the God of 
all power. I will accomplish My will in your life and I will keep my
promise to you, even when the promise is a long time in coming.

I am the God of Isaac and I am able to comfort you when you mourn. I am 
able to secure you inheritance even when there are others who try to 
lay claim to it that they may take it away from you.  I am your God and I 
will take care of you, even when the situation looks desperate to those who 
do not see through the eyes of faith.

I am the God of Jacob.  I am able to work in the midst of your situation 
to bring My glory into it. At times you may tamper and manipulate, and 
cause needless difficulties for yourself, as Jacob stole the birthright 
and caused his brother to hate him. At times you may think you are earning 
your own prosperity, as Jacob placed striped branches at the drinking 
trough to produce speckled and spotted sheep goats for his salary.  But it 
is not your antics that cause you to prosper, it is My destiny upon you 
and I am the One who prospers you. Likewise today, I will take care of My
own and I will protect you from those who are trying to take advantage
of you.

I am the God of Israel, who heard their cry when bondage and difficulty
came upon them, and I raised up a deliverer for them.  And I will likewise
deliver you, little one, when the afflictions become too great for you
to bear.  

I am the God of Moses, who performed signs and wonders and who caused
the Red Sea to part that My people might pass through on dry ground.
I am the One who closed the waters over the enemy that pursued them,
delivering them from those who wished to destroy them.  I have not lost
any of My strength or power and I will likewise deliver you today, for
I am able to do so.

So why do you look at your difficulties and be overcome by them?
Look instead at Me, your mighty deliverer who is committed to take 
care of you.  What is there that comes your way that is too hard for
Me?  What is there in your life or situation that I cannot handle?

There is nothing that is too hard for Me. I am God Almighty, I am bigger
than any of your problems and I am greater than any of your foes. So look 
to Me and know that I am with you.  I am willing to rise up on behalf of 
those who are called by My name, on behalf of those who obey and honor 
Me.  Just as I delivered Judah from the soldiers who surrounded her when 
Hezekiah looked to Me for help, so I will deliver you.  

Do not fix your eyes upon the problems, for that will only cause you
anxiety and despair. Instead fix your eyes firmly upon Me, your help
and your deliverer.  For I am with you and I will take care of you, no
matter what perils beset you. I am your God and I am willing and able to 
take care of you.
