                May I Come Into Your Day?

   Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires 
   of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and 
   He shall bring it to pass.  -- Psalm 37:4-5 (NKJV)

May I come into your day, little one? Will you invite Me into it? 

Don't you realize that I want to walk beside you as you go about your
activities? I want us to be in constant fellowship together. Why do you 
find it so hard to believe that I am both willing and able to meet and 
help you in your many different day-to-day activities? You have faith 
that I can help you with the big problems; the ones that seem "impossible" 
apart from My intervention. So, why do you find it surprising that I am 
just as capable of sovereignly solving your little problems? Don't you 
realize that I am with you always, and that I am actively at work in your 
life, both to protect you and to take care of you?

Dear one, I have asked you to commit your way to Me. You have done that,
but you have done so without really understanding what it entails. You 
don't realize that I have made an implicit promise to you in that 
command--for as you commit your way to Me, I also commit Myself to you. 
That means I will meet you in your every aspect of your way; I am there 
for you, even when you don't expect Me to be. I have placed My hand of 
protection on you, and I have committed to providing your needs. I have 
good plans for you, plans of a hope and a future. It is My both My will 
and My desire that you walk in the full measure of My peace and joy, and 
that you fulfill the destiny that I have appointed for you. And all of 
that comes when you commit your way to Me: for I walk with you in that 
way, bringing My goodness and My glory into every aspect of your day.

I want to meet in unexpected ways as you go about your day, to delight
you in many little things, and to put My divine signature upon you. 
I want you to expect Me to do that on a regular basis. Yes, as you commit 
your day unto Me, you should expect Me to meet you in the many aspects 
of that day--in the big things and also in the little ones. Look for 
signs of My presence with you, and you will find them. Ask Me to 
manifest My glory in your life, and I will do so. In fact, I am looking 
forward to doing this for you because I love you and I love to delight 
you with My goodness and to astonish you with My love.

So dear one, I ask you again: will you invite Me into your day? Will
you commit your way to Me, fully expecting that I will meet you in it?
Will you look to Me both as your Lord and also as your Friend and Helper 
and Guide? Will you bring Me the little things as well as the big ones? 
If you will trust Me in this, dear one, you will not be disappointed. 

So, invite Me into your day this very moment, and I will come. I will 
meet you and I will astonish you with My goodness.
