                        My Word

My child, I see your tears in the still of the night when fear rears
its ugly head. Did I not say that I don't give you the spirit of fear?
Why do you question My love for you? I am there with you during those
times that I see far away and just as much as I am with you in the times
that you know that I'm there. I never leave you and I never will.

I have given you the weapons of warfare to fight the enemy, and yet
sometimes you forget that you have them. My Word is the mightiest sword
ever created and it has so much power. Get into it, get it deep into
your heart. Then when the enemy strikes, you'll even be able to slay
him in your sleep. He won't even be able to wake you up.  I love it
when My children use the tools that I have given them instead of trying
to fight the enemy in their own strength.

It's hard for Me to stand by and watch My children fight with their bare
hands instead of using the sword of My word. It should be so much a part
of them that it's never far away. My child, the deeper My Word is in
your heart, the easier it will be for you to hear My prompting of how
to use it. Go, go now and grab My Word.

Today is a new day to get stronger in Me. Sit down in the shadow of My
wings and soak up My Word. Lean back in My arms, find rest and restoration
as you do. soon, My child, very soon, you will rise up to be the mighty
warrior that you have been destined to be.
