                      You Are My Witnesses

I have appointed you as My witness and I have sent you forth to share 
the good news of the gospel with those who are lost. I do not send you
out alone, I go with you. I back up the proclamation of My word with 
My power, with My anointing and with answered prayers.

I have put important kingdom business in your hands and I have 
commissioned you to advance My kingdom.  I have empowered you to push
back the forces of darkness and to set free those who are in the bonds
of oppression.  I have given you authority over sickness and disease
and over all the power of the devil. I have set you in place and I have
appointed you as My witness.

Child, I have placed My Spirit within you and I have fully equipped you.  
And I will put My words in your mouth when you do now know what to say,
because I am very serious about reaching the lost.  I love them and I
desire to draw them to Myself -- and I have appointed you as My worker
in My harvest, to gather them in.  I have given you words of life and I 
have given you authority and I will back up the proclamation of My 
kingdom with My power.  

But child, you cannot be My witness when you hide in a dark corner. Your
light cannot be seen when it is hidden behind a bushel or within the 
confines of the church. You cannot testify of Me when you only associate 
with those who are already believers.  Child, I am not sending you to 
reach My Church, I am sending you into the world as My witness.  Some of 
you I am sending to foreign lands, to the very ends of the earth. But 
others of you are set in your own Jerusalem and your own Judea.  I have 
placed you in your secular jobs that you might shine for Me there.  I 
have connected some of you with the lost through your child's school or 
their after-school sports team.  I have connected others of you to the 
lost through special purpose clubs, such as dog training or dancing and 
photography clubs and the like.  I have strategically placed others of 
you in gyms and fitness clubs.  Shine for Me wherever you are, for you
are My witness.

Child, do not think that you can turn off your light when you go about 
your secular activities and then turn it back on again when you are in 
church!  I do not need you to shine for Me as My light among those who 
are already walking in the light.  I need you to shine in the darkness.  
Shine for Me at your job and at your secular activities.  Shine forth 
My love and My compassion.  Meet the needs of the lost, heal their sick 
and set those who are demonized free.  Be My witness in the arenas where 
I have placed you.

Shine brightly for Me, for you are My witness.
