                           Know Me


Child of Mine, you will never fully know Me, for I am bigger and vaster
than you can possibly perceive, even though you are given all of eternity 
to pursue knowledge of Me.  There is yet much that you do not know about 
Me.  There is much of Myself that I desire to show to you.  I desire to 
reveal Myself to you in many ways.

That is why My Son encouraged you to continue to ask, seek and knock when 
He walked on this earth.  It is true that you can ask good gifts from Me 
and I will give them to you.  But it is even better to ask to know Me 
better, for I desire to reveal Myself to you more fully.  Child, you will 
never know Me as well and thoroughly as I know you, but pursue that goal
anyhow.  Make it your life's ambition to know Me better.

Have I not said in Ps 34 to delight yourself in Me, and I will give you 
the desires of your heart? Many think that means that I will give you 
whatever material or temporal things you want. But child, that is not 
what I have said here.  What I have said is that as you delight in Me 
and desire more of Me, I will surely reveal greater measures of Myself 
to you and allow you to dwell more frequently in My very presence. For 
child, I am the prize above all prizes.  Seek and pursue Me, and you 
will not be disappointed.

Seek to know Me as the peace giver and comforter, and you will know My
peace that passes all understanding, that sustains you no matter what
circumstances come at you.  Seek to know Me as the holy and righteous
one. And as you seek Me, I will transform you so that sin has less hold
over you.  I will transform your very thoughts and your very desires 
to line up more closely with Mine.  Seek to know Me as your Lord and 
Master, doing only what I am doing, and you will know the same power 
and authority that My Son walked in when He ministered on this earth.  
And you will do the same works that He did.  Seek to know Me as the 
faithful One, and you will see My faithfulness demonstrated to you over 
and over again.  Seek to know Me as high and lifted up, seated on My 
throne and My very train filling the temple, and you will see and 
experience greater measures of My glory.

Child, seek Me and pursue Me.  Allow Me to fill your senses with My
very presence.  Run after Me that I might catch you and embrace you in 
My arms and hold you close.  Look to Me with longing, that I might lift
the veil of the limitation of your understanding, that I might show you 
more of Myself.  Know My written word so that My rhema word might begin 
to resonate in your innermost being.  Know My voice, that I might speak 
to you continually and lead and guide you and give you My wisdom for 
whatever situation you face.  For I desire to be with you to help you
in all things, but you must seek Me and then listen to Me and obey Me
if you want Me to give you My wisdom for your situation.

Know Me as your source and as your provider.  See how I will open the
floodgates of Heaven on your behalf.  Child, I was able to multiply
oil and flour to feed My servant Elijah and the woman who I appointed
to take care of him.  I was able to multiply precious oil to fill
every container for the poor widow who's sons were about to be sold
into slavery.  I was able to multiply fish and loaves of bread when 
hungry people came to the wilderness to hear My Son speak My truth to 
them.  It is a small thing for Me to provide for you, but you must know 
first Me as your provider and as your source for Me to do that for you.

Child, you may think you know Me. But there are so many areas where you
do not know Me, for I am vaster than you can imagine.  Know Me as the
righteous judge who can pronounce you "clean" before Me because My
Son has already paid the penalty for your sins. For when you truly 
know Me in that fashion, then rejection and condemnation will have 
no power to torment you, for what I have pronounced clean is clean 
indeed.

Child, seek Me and pursue Me, and you will surely find Me.  But even
in the finding of Me, understand that there is much more of Me that 
you have not yet seen, and continue to pursue Me more fervently than
before.  For I desire to be known of you... I desire to reveal Myself
to you. So seek Me, child.  Seek after Me and pursue Me.  Come to know
Me more and more that I might reveal more and more of Myself to you.
