                    A Word For Worship Leaders

Dear one, I have put you in a unique position of leadership that is
different from how most of My other leaders function. You cannot do 
your job unless you first come into My presence and hear My plan and 
My agenda for the worship time. You need to be tuned into My Spirit 
so that you are quick to follow His prompting, so that My anointing 
may be on the worship time.

If you do this, then My presence will be strong in your midst. I will 
respond to heartfelt corporate worship and I will come and inhabit 
your praises. I will manifest Myself in your midst; I will literally
"show up" at your meeting in a tangible way. When I come in this 
manner, I bring many good things with Me: deep healing of the heart, 
physical healing of broken bodies, restoration of vision and calling, 
my unconditional love and acceptance, and also a release of spiritual 
gifts.

It is My desire and My pleasure to come in this manner, for I love
to inhabit the praises of My people. Dear one, you cannot lead them 
to this place of dwelling in My very presence unless you prepare your 
heart and draw into that place of My presence BEFORE you step up to 
lead others in worship.

But dear one, this is were your calling is different. You will be
leading many of My own who have not had the chance to prepare their
heart like you have. You can enter in quickly, but some of My own
need a bit of time to shake off the distractions and frustrations
of the day, so that they may truly focus their hearts and affection
on Me. Some of My own are not used to dwelling in the courts of 
worship, and it takes them longer to enter in through the gates of
praise. Some of My own have to shake off the false condemnation and
rejection that the enemy has shrouded them with before they can fully
enter into heartfelt worship.

Dear one, in short, many of them will not be able to enter into My
very presence and into high worship as quickly as you can. Remember 
that when you step up to lead worship, it is not about you and your 
own ability to worship or to come into My presence. It is about your
ability to take the others there with you. You will often times have 
to go slower than you like, so that you don't leave many of the
others behind.

I know your heart dear one, and I love the worship that you offer Me.
I love your desire to come into My presence and be lost in My goodness.
I desire for you to do that frequently in your own private devotions
and in your own worship time; for I have appointed you as a worshipper
and your worship truly does please Me.

But, dear one, I have also appointed you as a leader. I need you to
bring others with you into this place--I need you to be aware not only
of Me, but also of how My spirit is moving upon others in the room. Do
not run to that place of high worship so fast that you leave the others 
behind, for they will not be able to get there without your help. Watch 
My Spirit and see what He is doing in the room. Do it with Him. Don't 
be so eager to come into the depths of My very presence that you forget 
to take the congregation that you are leading with you. 

Yes, dear one, you are a worshipper, but you are also a leader. Your
role in those times is not to run quickly ahead, but to lead the 
flock. You will find that the anointing that is upon you will increase
even more as you take others with you into My presence, dear one.

Yes, I want you to come into My very presence during corporate worship,
but I want the entire congregation to go there with you. I have put
within you the ability to see in the Spirit, to sense what I am doing
in the worship time, so that you might accomplish My desire. Be 
sensitive to My leading and I show you how to take them with you into
the place of worship with My presence dwells.
