Open Heaven

I want to conclude by drawing our attention to Revelation 19:10. John is having an experience. He had an angel interpreting everything to him. Then he saw a huge majestic angel. The angel talked to him and said (in verse 9), "Write: 'Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb.'" He added, "These are the true words of God." Verse 10, "At this, I fell at his feet to worship him (the angel). I fell at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, 'Do not do it! I am a fellow servant.'"

What is an angel? One of the definitions of an angel is a fellow servant of us. 'Fellow servant' means called along beside you. The Holy Spirit is the 'Paraclete.' He comes along beside us to help us on all these different roads. But also there is a created host of angelic beings. One of the things that I do not like about the New International Version is that it says 'Lord Almighty' when literally the Hebrew uses the most common name. Do you know what the most common name for God in the Bible is, used more than anything else? It is "Lord Of The Host." But the NIV took it all out. This 'host' is the created beings that God is the Lord over. They are fellow servants. The angel says, "Let me tell you who I am. I am a fellow servant with you, and with your brothers. Worship God!"

I do not want to worship angels. I am just trying to let the pendulum swing back from where there is no emphasis at all or understanding of the wonderful things that God has done for those of us who believe and have eternal life. Some of the ways that God works in our lives is directed by gifts of the Holy Spirit, and sometimes by angelic beings coming in and doing what they do. They were created to serve God by serving us. They have a role, and they are servants. Omar Cabrerra was right. We need to say, "God, send them into the meeting!"

Sometimes it is through angels that we get revelation. Some of the things that happen are because they have come along beside us. I just believe that when we talk about them, they show up. I do not have any doctrine for that, I am just saying experientially it seems like when we talk about them, they show up. Do not worship them. That is a danger. Keep the focus on the Lord, on the cross, and what He did. It was the cross that created the open heaven. You see, the angels were ascending and descending on the ladder, which was fulfilled in John 1:51. The ladder became who? Jesus! "And you shall see heaven open and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man."

Now Paul calls the church the Body of Christ. Where should we expect the most angelic activity? Upon us, the Body of Christ. We are here, gathered together as the Body of Christ. Heaven has been opened upon us. I believe we are going to come into a day where we are going to see healings coming, start to see a lot more creative miracles. Do not worship the angels. Do not make them the focus of attention. You say, "Well, you did." Well, only to try to bring the pendulum back to a healthy place.

In the midst, I hope you have heard my heart. All of this came by the grace that was purchased for us at the cross. A man that teaches at my healing school is a word of faith guy. I heard him say something that is so true. He said he believes that one of the major reasons so many people do not get healed is that they feel unworthy and guilty, especially unworthy. They just have an orphan spirit, and they just feel like "God could not do that for me." He said that if we can remove that by helping people to understand who they are in Christ and how much He does love them, take that shame and guilt away, it opens them up to receive more.

I want to transition this teaching series into worshiping Him who sits on the throne. The Lamb that was slain that is now become the Lion of Judah, our Lord and our King, who has at His disposal, at His direction, at His command, a multitude, myriads upon myriads of servants who stand in the very presence of God and who soak in the anointing of God. It is not me or Bill Johnson or Heidi Baker or Benny Hinn or Kathryn Kuhlman or any of the older saints who have gone on to God that had healing anointings. It is not anything in us. It is the anointing. When an angel comes that has been standing before the throne beholding God, and then he is released from that throne to come into our meetings, it is really not him. It is the anointing, and that is what we want to ask for.

Father, in the name of Jesus and Your Holy Spirit that is in the people, we pray for Him to just begin to move and release gifts of healing. We also ask that you send from heaven servants, whirlwinds, the winds, the flames of fire, that people may feel literally a wind around them that no one else does. They may feel themselves becoming hot. They may feel the electrical energy when one draws close. Or they may feel as Paul says, "We labor with all His energy that works so mightily within us." Father, I pray that the energy of the Holy Spirit in people would be stirred up. We are asking for healings to happen even to those who read this teaching, for you are all powerful and you are able to touch people even through a written teaching.

Lord, for anyone who has cancer or something along those lines, I ask You to touch them. I am asking that You would release angels to come. Even though the prognosis may be death, I am asking that you would give a second opinion, that you would release an angel to come. Lord, touch the ones with cancer as You touched Terry who had an inoperable brain tumor and only a few weeks to live. Touch them just like You touched that woman in Chicago in her early thirties who had the beret on because she had lost all of her hair and she had had surgeries three times to have the tumor removed and it kept growing back. God, Your power came and destroyed the tumor and she lived. God, the woman that came into the meeting in Charlotte, North Carolina when we were in a flea market, whose sister called her and said, "God is here! Get out of bed!" She was in her twenties with an inoperable brain tumor. She drove an hour and got there at one in the morning, crossed the threshold and the power of God knocked her down. The electricity of God went all over her head. Months later I saw her and all the vomiting, all the headaches, and all the signs of the tumor were gone, no more symptoms. Now, Lord, send an angel. Release the gift of healing and touch those with cancer. Let the fire of God, the energy of God come over them right now.

Lord, if there is anybody else reading this that has a terminal illness, we pray for them. We pray that You would give a second opinion. You are the Great Physician. God, we ask for miracles to take place, and we ask for healings. Father, we can do nothing. We declare that we are just vessels of clay, earthen vessels. But God, we pray that Your glory would break out amongst us, that we would be aware as we worship, that we are not worshiping by ourselves. We are just entering into what is going on in heaven.

I pray that You would release Your glory in an unusual manner as your people worship you. God, I am praying that people who are in need of physical healing would receive it without anybody even having to pray for them. God, that You would just move upon them. God, we glorify the name of Jesus. We pray, Father, as Omar taught us, "Ask God to send His angels to help you." So God, in the name of Jesus, we ask for help! We ask for breakthrough! We ask not only for healing, we ask that there would be the angels to come to strengthen, in the name of Jesus, those that are weak, spiritually tired, oppressed. We pray that any demonic oppression that has been harassing anybody's mind would be broken off. We ask for the warrior angels to come and fight on our behalf. We ask, God, for not only the angels of healing to come, and the angels of refreshing, and the angels that strengthen, but God, I am asking that there would be at least a couple of people that would have an angel that would come with a commission from heaven. I pray that the commissioning angel would declare into the spirit realm that which would break people into a whole new realm, a whole new realm of destiny on their lives. We pray, Father, for commissioning angels, too. We bless the name of Jesus and we thank You for the Holy Spirit.

Lord, I know this sounds weird, but I just felt like earlier You led me to pray a prayer. I said, "God, people will think I am crazy. They will think I am stupid." God, I am just going to do it anyway. God, I thank You that I can walk. I thank You that I can breathe air and my lungs are good. I thank You, God, that I have a sound mind. I thank You, God, that my kidneys work. I thank You, God, that I have a good heart. I thank You, God, that I have a good intestinal system. I am glad everything is working, God. God, I thank You that my joints work and that they are not eaten up by arthritis. God, I thank You, because I realize, Lord, when my life is threatened, that everything else we have means nothing, and that the most important thing is to have our health. I thank You, God, that I am walking in good health. I thank You, God, that You have given me good health. I am not taking it for granted. Father, I thank You.
