                     I Have Anointed You

I am the Lord God almighty, and I have called you by name. I have 
chosen you as My servant and as My representative, and I have anointed 
you for this task. Yes, I have placed My Holy Spirit within you, and 
He will strengthen you, to empower you for all that I have called you 
to do. This empowerment is NOT for you to accomplish your own purposes 
and it is not for your own gain; it is that My name might be glorified
through you, and that you might accomplish My purposes.

Yes, I have chosen you as a vessel through which I will glorify My name.
I am faithful to perform all that I have said I will perform, and I am 
able to work through you to show forth My glory and power, to advance 
My kingdom. I am the One Who is empowering and anointing you. This is 
not based on your spirituality or upon your own ability; it is based on 
My power and on My faithfulness.

Yes, dear one, I am faithful. I do not withdraw My Spirit from you 
because you are having a bad day or because you are having a difficult 
season. My power flows through you to accomplish My purposes, and I am 
very committed to this process. 

My empowerment is not a result of your faithfulness; it is not about
your worthiness. It is a result My faithfulness and it is about My 
ability to accomplish My purposes through My own. That is why I have 
sent My Spirit to dwell within you--to anoint you to do with Me the 
things that I am doing on this earth.

My anointing is not based on your feelings or on your mood; it is not 
based on how successful you are at walking conflict-free through your
day. Just because you feel weak, that does not mean you are weak--for 
the Spirit Of All Power resides within you, and He will not abandon 
you.

I want you to remember that My Spirit resides within you and that I
am faithful to anoint and empower you to accomplish My purposes.
