                          Refreshment

Child of Mine, I have good things in store for you. The enemy of your
soul has tried to trick you into leaning on your own strength instead
of drawing from Mine.  He has worked hard to wear you out and discourage
you.  As a result, you have become tired and weary, and you are in need
of a refreshing.  So that is what I have for you.

My heart is to refresh your spirit and to restore your physical body.
I am going to infuse you with My strength and My presence.  I am going
to envelop you in My nearness and I am going to immerse you in My love.
I am going to bring rest to you, and I am going to replenish the
storehouse of your joy.

Your reserves have been low for too long and it is time to refill them.
I am the God of abundance, and I am about to pour out upon you. I will
pour out more than you can receive and I will lavish My spirit and My
refreshment upon you.  I will strengthen you and make you strong, so
that you will once again be able to run your race without growing weary
or faint.

There are many cares and troubles in this world, but I have not given
them power over you.  You are in My hand, and I am going to take very
good care of you.  The battle will continue to rage around you, but I am
going  to call you away from it from time to time for a brief season of
refreshing. I will bring you into retreat of My peace and I will revive
you. I am going to breathe My strength and My life into you.

I invite you to give your cares to Me--lay them at My feet. Trust that I
will do a good job taking care of them. Then watch and see what I will do
in your life. I will give you a testimony of breakthrough and overcoming.
I will make a way for you where there was previously no way. I will bring
My glory into your situation.

Be encouraged, child of Mine. I am with you and My presence shall refresh
you.
