                     I Am Not Mad At You


The enemy of your soul would heap condemnation upon you over the most
trivial things. He would try to convince you that I have become angry
or disappointed with you, and as a result, you have somehow manged to
separate yourself from Me and from My love.

The "distance" that you feel during those times of trial is not Me
withdrawing My love or My acceptance from you. It is a deception put
forth by your enemy, the devil; an attempt to erect a barrier between
us. He knows that if you run back to Me, I will encourage and refresh
you; I will draw you even closer to Myself and revive you, and empower
you to advance My kingdom. That is why the enemy of your soul tries to
beat you up over the smallest failure, to make you afraid to come before
Me. At times he even will beat you up over wrongs and misbehaviors that
others have done towards you, when there is no fault of you own. He will
do his best to convince you that I am dangerous and scary to approach,
so that you will not try to draw near to Me, the source of your life and
your strength.

Dear one, even when you are legitimately guilty of great offense, your
sin cannot separate you from My love, nor can it nullify My grace and
My forgiveness. Your salvation is not based on your works or your
merit, it is based on the perfect sacrifice that My Son made for you.
There is no force in this world that can nullify the salvation that
He has purchased for you. There is nothing that can separate you from
Me--you may "come boldly to the throne of grace"* and I will always
receive you, providing you come with a heart to obey** and honor Me.

Have you not read in My Word where I said "There is therefore now no
condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus?"*** Do you think My Word
was lying when it said that "the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses
us from all sin?"**** Or do you believe that these truths somehow apply
to everyone else, but you are the exception?

That type of thinking is not My voice, it is the voice of condemnation.

I am your loving Heavenly Father and I am not angry with you. Do not
be afraid. Come to Me and receive My love.
