                    The Heat


I had a vision of  a white, large cloth.  It was over an ironing board and 
all wrinkled and creased.  I saw an iron move over it, and all the creases 
disappeared, leaving that part of the cloth straight and smooth and shining 
white, then it continued on the next section.  As I pondered on this, the 
Lord gave me this:

It is the heat that makes the cloth straight and smooth.  It is the heat 
that smoothes away the imperfections and reveals the full beauty.  It seems 
that now you stand in hot flames, it seems that now the heat is unbearable 
for you, but the creases are being made smooth, the beauty that I am working 
on within you will be revealed.  The process seems long and the time seems 
hard, yet a work is being done, a completion is taking place.  Endure.  Know 
that I do not give you more than you can bear; know that I will not leave 
the work I am doing in you incomplete, know that a beautiful and pureness 
will break forth, and it will come from the time of the heat.

Do not grit your teeth and do not think I am not with you, for I am with you 
in the place of heat, the place of testing, the place where you are being 
moulded and perfected.  I have you always in my sight.  There is a work that 
I am doing within you.  A cleansing.  You will burst forth in joy, you will 
shine forth in power.  Your strength comes from me, and you will come 
through this time refined.  Endure for it is only for a short time.  It is a 
season.  The work is almost complete and I will send you forth.  Cleansed.  
Renewed.  Strengthened.  Refreshed.  Let me carry you.
