                      You Say That You Trust Me

Child of Mine, you say that you trust Me, but do you really? 

So many of My own deceive themselves into thinking they have put their
full trust in Me--yet they hold on to their fears, their anxieties
and their worries. 

Little one, if you really trusted Me, then you would not fret when
you find yourself in a difficult situation, because you would know with
a certainty that I am with you and that I will help you. I want you
to walk in that type of peace...a peace that passes all understanding
and sustains you no matter what you face. My peace is independent of 
your circumstances, because it is based on Me and upon My faithfulness
to you.

This is a season of many uncertainties for those who belong to the world; 
it is a season of difficulty and of many fears. But that should not touch 
you, because you are Mine, and I am faithful to take care of you. I want
to envelop you in a peace. I want to give you the confidence that comes 
from knowing that I hold your future securely in My hand, and that I am 
both willing and able to take care of you.

So little one, look at what is going on around you, then take stock of
your heart. Is there worry or fret? Is there anxiety or fear? Are you
running scenarios to solve a problem over and over again in your head?
Are you at your wits end in some area of your life? Are you unable to
sleep at night because of this?

Or are you filling your thoughts with reminders of My goodness and 
faithfulness. Are you looking to Me instead of looking at your problems?
Are you able to center yourself in My peace, so that you clearly hear 
My directions for this situation?

Too many of My own fill their hearts with too much of worry and anxiety, 
and with too little of the peace and confidence in My faithfulness. That
is not My plan for them and I would like to change that.  

I want each and every one of My own to enjoy the full measure of peace 
and joy that I have ordained for them--a peace and joy that comes from 
Me and not from the circumstances that surround you. So, little one, 
look to Me and let Me teach you how to truly put your trust Me. For when 
you put your trust in Me, you will not be disappointed.
