                       Come Where I Am

Today was a very busy day and I did not have a chance to get the day's
word done in the morning as I usually do. It was already after 3 PM, and 
I decided to take a short rest break before seeking the Lord for day's 
word.

I have three dogs. As I headed from the kitchen to the family room, I
noticed that all three had parked themselves in different places and 
were strewn around the house. One dog was on the sofa in the family 
room, one on the tile in the entry way and the other on the carpet in 
another room. I was heading to the family room, so I decided to pet 
the one on the sofa.

Now, those of you who have more than one dog or cat know this...if you 
feed or pet one of them, the others expect and want it too.

I was tired and did not want to go chasing all over the house to pet 
each of my boys. But I did not have to. While I was still petting the 
first dog, the second made his way to where I was and laid down on the 
floor next to me, so he could be petted too. And before I finished 
petting him, the third one showed up. So no one was left out because 
they took the initiative to come to where I was doing the petting.

Then God spoke to me. He said, "Your dogs know something that most of My
children still need to figure out."

"What is that, Lord?" I asked.

"They know that if they want to get petted, they need to go to where the
person doing the petting is."

He paused, and then continued...

"Likewise, if My children want a closer and deeper intimacy, they need
to watch and see where I am and what I am doing, and come position 
themselves where I am currently moving. If they want to move with Me in
My power and anointing, they need to watch and see where I am releasing 
it, and then come to that place and make themselves available to Me."

"Too many of My own just sit where they are and cry out for Me to come
to them. They ask Me not to pass them by or not leave them out, but 
they don't pay any attention to where I am moving or what I am doing.
I want them to look around, take note of where I am, and then come to 
Me and participate with Me in what I am doing."

"If you want more, child, pursue Me more. Be smart. Be proactive. See
what I am doing and climb aboard My program, for I am willing to 
include you. If you just sit there and wait for Me to come to you, it 
may take a while before I do that, as I do have an agenda that I am 
working on. But when you get up, seek Me and pursue Me, then you will 
surely find Me."
