                       The Invisible Path


I had a vision of a path.  It was straight and clear and all of a sudden it
branched, one side to the right and one to the left.  As I stood looking at
these paths, I looked ahead for the path that was to be followed, but there
was nothing there.  The path to the right and the left were wide and clear
but ahead was nothing.  How could this be?  As I pondered this I saw a trap
on the one path where someone had been snared, on the other path I saw a
deep hole where some had fallen.  As I sat and waited, this is what the Lord
laid on my heart:

Sometimes it may seem that there is no way ahead, no way forward.  Sometimes
it may seem that you do not hear My soft, still voice saying this is the way
walk in it, but you know the way and you know which way is My way.  You know
which way not to go, the way of sin and all that comes with it, the way of
temptation and all that it brings.  If you know which way not to go, then
you also know the way that is correct, the narrow path.

It may seem that the path is so narrow that it is not even there.  That path
is not tread as much as the other two.  That path is less used.  That path
is the way to go.  Do not follow the way others take, do not listen to any
voice but mine.  Be still when you face the crossroads in life and wait upon
Me.  Remember that the path you follow is narrow, but it is there and it is
the only one to take.

The paths that turn to the left and the right will call you with their lies,
their temptations and their earthly promises.  Do not worry.  I will never
allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear.  I will always supply a
way out.   The wrong paths are wide and easy to see, so do not follow them,
follow Me.

You know the way.  Even when it seems that you cannot see the path, I am
there and you are walking with Me.  Even when it seems you walk alone, I am
there and do not worry about the rest.  Even when it seems Heaven is sealed,
it is not, the door is ever open to you.

Go forwards and know that I will not let you go the way of the world, for My
words are in your heart and My hand is upon you.  Lift up your eyes and
rejoice.  Lift up your arms and proclaim the truth of My love.  Walk that
path and never look back.
