                   Come To My Light


Come, dear one, and allow Me to touch your heart, that I might bring the 
full measure of My healing and restoration to you.  To do this, I must 
bring to the surface the things that you keep hidden down deep.  These 
things must be exposed that they might be healed.  Is it not My way for 
you to confess your sins that you might be forgiven?  Likewise, it is 
also My way to shine My light into your darkness that I might expose 
and dispel that darkness, that I might break it's power over you.

Do not be too ashamed to bring your darkness to Me. For I will not heal 
you if you are not willing to admit your need.  As I said when I walked 
on this earth, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those 
who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to 
repentance."   So, little one, do not try to hide your need from Me -- for 
I know all things and I know of your needs and your weaknesses and your 
failures.  But I have not come to condemn you for them.  And at this time 
I have not come to judge you for them, though you will one day stand before
Me and give account if you are unwilling to deal with these things now.
But at this moment I am not here to judge you for your struggles; rather 
I have come to set you free from them, to empower you to overcome by 
shining My light into your darkness and dispelling it.

Child, I am truth and I am light.  You cannot abide in Me and remain filled
with darkness.  For it is the very nature of light to expose and dispel
darkness.  If you would abide in Me, My light shines on you and it causes
your darkness to be exposed.  Do not deny it, do not push it back down.
Rather, allow the light of My presence to shine in and to break the hold
that this darkness has in your life.  Allow Me to root up things of the
past and address them, for I desire to break their hold over you.  

Have I not come to set captives free?  What did you think I meant by that?
Let me tell you what I mean.  I have broken the power of sin on Calvary,
but each person must individually respond and believe and receive what
I have done for them.  Likewise, I have broken the chains of bondage and
oppression that the devil has put on My people through hurts of the past, 
but you must expose them to My light, to confess your need for My
deliverance, if you desire Me to deliver you. If you say to Me, "I have
no need" when the need is present, then you lie to Me.  You become bound 
by the lie to conceal and hide and it increases the power of that thing 
over you.  When you deny these things and say you have no need, then I 
will not help you with them.  For I am truth and I cannot condone a lie 
nor can I dwell in darkness and deceit.  

But if you confess your need to Me, if you repent and throw yourself on 
My mercy, then you shall have mercy and I will set you free from the 
bondages that beset you.  And in this process, I will require that you
forgive others, just as I have forgiven you.  But do not fear, for I
will work a change deep within you as I bring My healing to you, and 
that change will empower you to truly forgive from the bottom of your
heart.  I do not ask the impossible of you when I command you to forgive,
for I will empower you to do so, through My indwelling Holy Spirit Who
I have sent to reside within you.

Do not be surprised when things rise to the surface that you wish were not
within you.  For I expose your darkness and sin and failures that I might 
dispel them.  So, do not push them back down and try to hide them, for I 
desire to lift them off of you and set you free from them. I say to you 
that My deliverance from these things is much better than trying to pretend 
that they do not exist.  Humble yourself before Me, admit your need and 
watch what I will do on your behalf.  For I am with you and My desire is 
to set you free from the things that hold you back and then to thrust you 
into the fullness of your destiny.  Trust Me and cooperate with Me in this.  
I am for you and I am able to see this through to completion.
