                        Expect It                      

    Father, I want those You have given Me to be with Me where I
    am, and to see My glory, the glory You have given Me because
    You loved Me before the creation of the world.  - John 17:24

Dear one, I want you to be hungry for more of Me, and I want you to 
long to have direct and supernatural encounters with Me. Yes, I want 
you to eagerly expect Me to manifest Myself to you, and to draw you 
into My very presence. I want to show you My glory and I want to 
saturate your senses with My goodness; I want to flood you with My 
the reality of My great love for you. I want to show you Who I really
am what I am really like. I want you to know with absolute certainty
that you are loved and forgiven, and that you are welcome in My 
presence. Yes, dear one, I really do want to show you more of My glory 
and I really do want to manifest more of the kingdom of God in your 
life.

But in order for Me to do this, I need you to cooperate with Me in 
this process. That means you must change your expectations about what 
is possible and what is permitted. Too many of My own have limited 
their thinking and have lowered their expectations to the point where 
I cannot meet them in the way that I desire to. They have chosen to 
settle for the crumbs under the table instead of partaking of the great
feast that I have laid out for them. 

Don't allow yourself to fall into that trap, dear one. Do not allow 
wrong expectations or limited desires to hold you back from experiencing 
all that I have for you. Do not act like a stranger standing outside 
of the door  and looking into the household with longing. Instead, 
enter boldly into the household of your God, for it is your place, 
and you are welcome here. Embrace the inheritance that I have given 
you and walk in the fullness of it.

Wrong expectations and limited desires are your biggest hindrance--
so cast them aside and embrace the reality that I have prepared for
you. I realize that somewhere along the line, someone has told you 
that you should not expect to have direct or supernatural encounters 
with Me. They have told you that I don't do things like that anymore. 
Or they have told you that I only manifest Myself to the holiest and 
most piast of men, and not to you.

But dear one, that is not true--it is a lie designed to keep you away 
from entering into the fullness of all I have for our relationship 
together. You must reject that lie and embrace My reality and My truth.
Begin to seek Me earnestly and expect that I am willing to be found by 
you.

Dear one, I desire to bring you into My very presence and to give you 
direct supernatural encounters with Myself. I desire to do this even 
more than you desire for it. Yes, I want to meet you in ways that will 
amaze you, and I want to speak to you clearly and teach you to hear My 
voice. I want to open you up to the reality of My kingdom and I want 
to teach you how to move in My power and anointing. I want to catch you
up at times into My presence and allow you to come before My throne. I 
want to surround you with My tangible nearness, and I want to open your
eyes to all that I desire to do in you and through you. I want you to 
get to know Me better, I want to manifest Myself to you in more tangible 
ways.

So, dear one, press into Me. Ask Me for these things and ask Me to
manifest Myself to you. Ask expecting to receive, and keep on asking Me
until you have received it. Change your expectations dear one. Start
believing that I want to show Myself to you and that I will allow you
to experience more My presence and more of My glory. Start expecting to
have direct encounters with Me. You see, dear one, the more you expect
Me to meet you in this manner, the more it will happen for you.

So begin to pursue Me with all of your heart and with all of your
strength. Start expecting Me to meet you. Yes, seek Me earnestly, 
knowing with a certainty that I desire to be found by you.
