                         I Will Provide

Child of Mine, I want you to know that I am your loving Heavenly Father
and I am both willing and able to take care of you. The enemy of your
souls is trying to convince you that I don't care about your needs. Of
course, that is a lie. He wants to convince you that I am stingily, that I
expect you to get by with only the absolute minimum that you require to
survive. That is not My way; My way is abundance and plenty.

Too many of My own dear owns have started to believe his lies, and he is
introducing a "spirit of poverty" mentality into My church. That is a
wrong thinking that attacks My very character. It accuses Me of being an
abusive father Who does not take care of His own, Who does not care about
their needs. It breaks My heart when My dear children start to believe
those type lies about Me. I have proved Myself faithful over and over
again. Yet so many of My children still question My willingness and My
ability to take care of them.

Haven't you read in My word how I have treated My own through out the
ages? Abraham did not just get by--I blessed him with cattle and servants
and every type of financial provision. Jacob did not just get by. Even
when he did not honor Me or My ways, I provided for him. I took care of
him when his father-in-law Laban tried to take advantage of him. In fact,
I transferred much of Laban's wealth to him.

I took care of Joseph. He was a slave and possessed nothing of his own,
so I prospered whatever he put his hands to. When he was falsely accused,
I took care of Him in prison. Then, in the fullness of time, I gave him
great wealth of his own, making him one of the richest men in Egypt. I
blessed his family and his descendents until they became so prosperous that
the leaders of Egypt became jealous of them, forcing them to be slaves and
to live in poverty for a season.

When I brought My people out of Egypt, did I bring them out as penniless
beggars? No, of course not! I transferred the wealth of Egypt to them.
I gave them favor so that each man and woman received gold and silver and
many good things from their Egyptian neighbors just before they left. The
tabernacle was made out of the overflow of the abundance of the good things
I gave them. I provided for them even though I knew they would make wrong
decisions; even though I knew they would misuse some of the resources I
gave them. They had enough gold and silver to spare that they could afford
to waste some of it on building a golden calf when I took Moses up into the
Mountain of My presence. Even though I knew they were going to sin against
Me, I still took care of them financially.

I have show Myself over and over throughout history to be a God who is
both able and willing to take good care of My own.

If that is not enough to convince you, then consider the words of My own
dear Son. Did He not say that He came to give you abundant life?
Abundant life is not a life that barely gets by. It is not a life that
is tormented with many great and unfulfilled needs. That is not what
"abundant" means. It means that your God will take very good care of you
if you only learn to trust Him.

Didn't My Son tell you that any time you need something, you should come to
Me and ask Me for it, and I will give it to you? Haven't you read in My
word how I am the giver of good gifts and how I love to give good gifts
to My own dear children?

Child of Mine, I want you to learn to trust Me with your finances. I will
take are of your needs. I want you to know that I am both willing and
able to take very good care of you. Child of Mine, I will provide for you.
