                   A Season Of Rest

Child, I am going to bless you in ways you cannot imagine. I am with 
you and I am indeed revealing Myself to you. Yes, I am breaking into 
your day and into your rest, and I am speaking to you.

You are easily distracted and you cannot always sense what I am doing 
in you at the moment. Do not fret, for I am with you and I will cause 
you to come into the center of My will and of My plans for you. 

There are times when rest and healing are My top priorities for you. 
So do not be dismayed when you find yourself in a season of rest, and 
do not fret when I move you into a season of healing. I love you even 
when I am not actively calling on you to do things for Me. 

Allow yourself to rest in these times, and remember that this is just
for a season. I will give you jobs to do with Me again in the future.
But in these times, receive the rest that I offer you. It may seem like 
you are not doing enough; but it is not about what you are doing for 
Me--it is about what I am doing in you. 

Commit yourself into My care, and let Me do the inner work that I need
to do in you. Trust Me to know what I am doing, and you will see that 
I will indeed take good care of you. I am faithful. I will meet you and 
I will bless you and I will empower you in your time of rest, so that 
you might be made ready for your next assignment.
