Which Way Will You Choose?

I see a road that comes to a Y---one way goes to the left and the other to the right. They both look the same at the beginning, but only in a distance can you see they begin to vary.

You will come to a split in the road where you will have to make a choice. At the crossroads, they both might look like the same, but as you proceed down the road you have chosen, you will begin to notice the difference. The differences will be subtle at first, hardly noticeable. Both pathways will look good to you, but look for the little differences that will guide the way.

The road that looks easiest at first, will end up being the one that will bring the most trouble. The other, though it might begin to get bumpy and uneven and starts to go downhill into a valley, you will find at the bottom of that hill, under the clefts of the rocks, a cool mountain stream. In that place you will find tranquility and rest.

Be careful of choices, for I am giving you choices. Both look good, but only one is my choice. The easy path will draw you, for the way will look clear with no hindrances. Only as you proceed will you begin to see the pitfalls and the danger that awaits around its corners.

It is important you learn to see with my eyes and hear with my ears. For I can see things that your eyes cannot see and I can hear things your ears cannot hear. For my ways are not your ways, neither are my thoughts your thoughts.

Isaiah 30:21," Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, This is the way, walk in it."

Isaiah 42:16, "I will lead the blind by the way they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them. I will turn darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These things I will do. I will not forsake them"

Isaiah 50:4b-5a, " He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being taught. The Sovereign Lord has opened my ears...."
