             In the Midst of the Fire and the Storm


    "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and when
    you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When
    you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, the flames
    will not set you ablaze." -- Isaiah 43:2

My children, I am with you, and I will keep you from all harm. Even when
you believe that calamity has fallen on you, I will keep you. Even in
the midst of the fire and the storm, I will keep you. 

I am teaching you to trust Me at all times. Your life is not about what
you eat and drink, but is of eternal importance. My care over you is 
for eternity's sake, not just time, and when I say I will keep you, it 
is not to prevent you from suffering, but to keep you in spite of it. 

Your soul, your heart and your mind are what I am redeeming. I am 
redeeming you from your fears, your excesses, your flesh and your 
failures. I am teaching you My will, My way and My purposes. So remain
in Me, and you will find blessing, promised and sure. You are My loved
ones.
