                    Can You Forgive Yourself?

But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them
snared in holes, and they are hidden in prison houses: they are
	for prey -- Isaiah 42:22a

Dear children, in times past when you prayed for My forgiveness, I forgave
you even before your prayers of repentence were finished. Yet now, you
recall and drag up your painful past, the mistakes you made, the hurts
you caused, the sorrow you brought and the words you spoke in anger.

This day, many of My children are in prison houses of regret, guilt and
shame. You recall the past again and again even when I say, "Remember ye
not the former things, neither consider the things of old." (Isaiah 43:18)

Look, My child and understand. I have forgiven you long ago, can you not
forgive yourself? Can the devil lock you up in your own prison house
when he doesn't even have the keys to his own house? See, I have placed
the key to your own prison house in your own hands. This key opens your
prison house; it is the key to freedom and liberty, but you have to unlock
yourself and be free.

The name of this key is "I forgive myself."

I have forgiven you, can you forgive yourself?
