VISION OF THE ARCHERS ON THE WALL
Vision given to Catherine Brown
The Lord awakened me this morning with a vision of many archers upon a wall.
The wall seemed to span to the ends of the earth. The number of archers was too many to be counted and went on as far as the eye could see. I knew immediately that this was a holy army, raised by the Lord's hand. I knew that this was the first time so many had been called to this place, I knew that there was a hushed expectation, a waiting upon the Lord. And I could see that the bowmen were pointing into the nations, every nation upon the face of the earth was within striking distance of their arrows. And I could see that there were legions of angels poised also in this moment of silence before the Lord gave His command.
And the Lord spoke, "I am raising up an army of archers, the quivers from My bow, the sons of My Righteousness, says the Lord. They will fire My word from the watchtowers and My Word will rain upon the nations, for I am doing a new things says the Lord. We are entering a new phase of warfare. For I have sent the snow and rain to water the earth and to bring forth seed for the sower and bread for the eater. But now I am sending forth My Word, which is an unending and a mighty River. These are days when you will see the desert places bloom -- if you will but ask in faith, believe in faith and receive in faith. Seek not a name for this new move of My Spirit. It is neither third wave nor new wave -- it is My Kingdom come, says the Lord. Just preach My Kingdom come, My will be done on earth as it is in Heaven and believe that I am coming again for My people. Heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons and proclaim that My Kingdom is at hand, for I am nearer that I have ever been before. Look after the widows and the orphans. This is My sovereign Word to you My people -- when you ignore the widows and the orphans you profane My Holy Name by this action. Feed the hungry and clothe those who are naked, for surely in these days I have given you every means by which you might meet their needs. Come together under My covenant, come into My temple, bring the multitudes with you that they might know My glory, says the Lord. Tell them about their Father in Heaven. Tell it to the fatherless children and tell it to the nations. Tell them I have known them since before they were born and I hold each one of them with tenderness upon My heart. Tell them that I am awaiting their homecoming with great joy. Speak to Jerusalem with tenderness.
And as the darkness increases upon the earth know that I am increasing My Light, My presence. Take care that you live as children of the Light, let no part of you be in darkness lest you give the devil a foothold. For so long My children you have thought this was about the sun setting on your anger. Look again into My word and see that it is this and so much more. Put on My Virtue that I might reveal, by My Spirit any and all unwholesomeness and impurity within your hearts. Do not become complacent in your salvation. Remember, My precious children that you are deceived to the extent that you do not see things through My eyes.
Look again to the cross, look always to Me for direction, for inspiration, for confirmation. Let Me be your best expectation. If only more of you would truly lay down your lives for Me, truly nail "self" to the cross, but so many of My children pay these words only lip service. There is a fullness in Me that My Body has not yet attained and it is My deepest desire to pour out Myself upon you in far greater ways and measure. If only you would have the faith to ask, to ask for it My way says the Lord. I wait for the men and women of faith to ask Me. That is all you have to do, is ask with faith in your hearts. Faith is not a test says the Lord, it is My gift to you. Faith is not a trick, it is My eternal promise. Lay hold of it will all your hearts and ask in My name and I will be quick to answer. Lay aside the thinking of this world and look to Me for the desires of your heart.
But you must first remember that you are to serve one another, that the first shall be last and the last shall be first. Mean it with all of your heart when you say "for it is no longer I who lives, but Christ who lives in me". You will be astounded by this in its fullest revelation.
Know the seasons says the Lord. Learn about the Harvest. Understand that I must appoint heavenly workers for the field and also earthly workers for the field. Search again the scriptures for My deep truths. Beware of false doctrine and bring all things into the Light that they may be tested. Let the trumpet call go forth to every nation. Let the battle for the sons of Righteousness begin." And with this I could see that the bowmen upon the walls let loose wave after wave after wave of living arrows into the nations. And the arrows represented the sons of righteousness, they represented the sons of the living Lord. The Lord's word was going forth into the nations, and with each arrow there was an incredible burst of Light, a radiance of the Lord's presence and with each arrow were also dispatched legions of angels. And the earth was becoming so full of His glory -- truly as the water of the oceans cover the earth, such was the glory of the Lord being released into the nations. Never before has the Lord raised so many of His sons to serve Him. Oh hear the word of the Lord sons and daughters and come forth for the King, that He might send you as an arrow of His word into the nations.
