                       Destined For Greatness

Child of Mine, I have destined you for greatness, but you must cooperate
with Me to walk in the fullness of your destiny.

Child, I know that you currently reside in a physical body that carries
a sinful nature. I know that even with the best of intentions, there are
times when you are going to fall short. Dear child, I do not disqualify
you for this. However, I do expect that every time you fall, you get back
up and run to Me. I want to cleanse you and I want to strengthen you so
that you don't fall prey to the same shortcoming over and over again. I
want to give you victory over everything that besets you or holds you
back.

But in order to taste of my victory, you must cooperate with Me in the
process. That means that there are things in your life that are death
to you, that you must lay on the alter. You must be like My servant
Abraham, when I commanded Him to bring Me an offering*. He obeyed Me
instantly, but he had to wait several hours before I sent My fire to
consume his sacrifice. Likewise you must wait on Me until I send My fire
to consume the offering that you have placed before Me. You must not
grab it back while you are waiting for My fire to take it.

You must also chase away the vultures that would try to steal away your
sacrifice. You must reject the lies and condemnation that the enemy would
try to heap upon you, for in Me there is no condemnation. The enemy of
your soul would try to trick you into disqualifying yourself because of
the very sacrifice that you have laid on the alter before Me. Remember
this truth and hold it near to your heart: just because I delay in
consuming your sacrifice, it does not mean that I have rejected it. There
are times that I ask you to wait on Me and trust Me.

I know that you want instant victory over everything that besets you.
My inner victories always come, but they are not always instant. Yes,
dear one, lay your heart bare before Me and watch and see how I will
transform it. I will give you My victory in those places where you have
struggled with weakness and defeat. I do change and transform you to be
more like Myself, and in the end you will be perfected and holy and pure
before Me in every way. But in the meantime, do not allow the lies and
condemnation of the enemy to create a gap between us; keep running back
to Me each time you fall short, and receive My forgiveness and My
cleansing.

Do your best to cooperate with Me in the process, and do not resist My
Spirit working within you to transform you. Yes, dear one, keep running
forward with your eyes on the prize, and be mindful that I have destined
you for greatness, and that I am able to accomplish that in your life if
you will just cooperate with Me.
