                   Purpose In Your Heart To Obey

Child of Mine, I am your dear Father and I love to talk with My own.
There is so much that I want to tell you, to share with you, to reveal
to you.  Child, I have so many good plans for your life and I want to
talk to you about each of them.  I want to draw you into a place of
deeper intimacy with Me where you can lean your head on My breast as
the John did with My Son Jesus at the Last Supper, that you might
whisper your questions to Me and that I might answer you.  It is My
desire to tell you many things and not to withhold information from
you.  I want to tell you in advance when things are going to happen so
that you will not be caught off guard by them.  I want to speak words of
comfort, words of peace and words of life to you. I want to lead you and
direct you and guide you so that you do not smash your foot against a
stone as you walk down the path that I have chosen for you.

Unfortunately, there are times when you simply are not willing to listen
to what I have to say.  There are times when you have no intention of
obeying what I tell you to do. Don't you realize that if I were to speak
to you when you are in that state, it would not be good for you.  You see,
I am obligated to hold you more accountable when you clearly know what I
want and you refuse to obey it than when you don't understand what it is
that I desire of you.  My silence to you in those times arises out of My
great love for you, for I always have your good at heart.  I am protecting
you by not revealing My will to you more clearly until you are better able
to obey it.

Child, willful disobedience is a very bad thing in My eyes. It shuts the
door to blessings and it opens the door for the enemy of your souls to come
in and torment you.  If I tell you clearly and you choose to disobey,
things will go much worse for you than if you don't know what I want you
to do.  Yet, child of Mine, there are times when you ask Me to speak to
you when you have no intention of obeying what I say.

Child, I want to speak to you clearly. There is so much that I have to
say to you, and all of it is for your good and for your blessing and for
your peace and for your joy.  But so many times you are not able to see
that My will is the best way there is, that in it is fullness of joy.
At times, the desires of your flesh conflicts against My will for you
and those desires blind you to see that My way is better for you.

I cannot tell you clearly what you need to know at those times, unless
you purpose in your heart before I speak to obey Me over the desires of
your own heart.  If you want to hear clearly from Me, then I need to be
able to trust you to obey what I tell you.  Child, will you prepare your
heart before Me? Will you commit to obey Me because you love Me? Will you
trust Me and demonstrate that trust to Me by doing whatever I tell you to
do?

Child of Mine, the more you purpose in your heat to obey Me, the more I
will be able to tell you, and the more of Myself I can reveal to you.
I want you to hear My voice clearly and I want to speak to you in all
areas of your life and walk. But there is one thing I require of you in
order to be able to do that--that you obey Me when I do speak to you.

Child of Mine, will you prepare your heart to obey Me, that I might speak
to you more clearly?
