God's Ride

I pictured a wooden cart with wooden wheels; and you're pulling the cart on a dirt road. It's not too hard because God has removed so many burdens and baggage and "stuff", so that the cart is not near as heavy as before.

But God says, it's time to put down the cart and get on the bus. The cart is familiar, and we feel like we have some control, and we can cope with what's left on the cart. But God says, let it go, put it down, walk away, and get on the bus.

Some of us have been working hard, but God wants to give us rest. On the Jesus bus you may not know where you are going--but you can trust the driver. He knows where you need to go and he will supply you with everything you need when you need it. Jesus is the driver, and he is smiling at you and calling you over. Let the cart go, and get on the bus.

God wants to take you for an exciting ride.
